The tricky part was to include the exe file not only from the BOINC\projects folder but also in the BOINC\slots

Another tricky issue is that Moo can end up in different BOINC slots (obviously) and McAfee LiveSafe does not allow excluding whole folders and subfolders but only individual files in specific folders, so one has to kind of catch the dnetc client in the act in every possible folder.
So let's hope McAfee realizes this is a false positive sooner rather than later.

If you could try to exclude Moo! Wrapper project from it's heuristic scanning and see if that helps?

I have now done this, and Moo is running again. We had not needed this exclusion in quite while, so I had forgotten about it.

Thanks for the help.

As always, please report ... having work fail more often in the relevant forum here.

The 1.05 app (openCL nvidia) was failing all work units after 9 seconds.
So I have updated all softwares (boinc, virtuabox and nvidia drivers) to their latest version
Now the 1.05 app (openCL nvidia) fails all work units after 17 seconds.

Core i7-4790, 16GB, Win 10 64b
GeForce GTX 980

All other projects using the GPU are running fine.

It's also app specific. I see Collatz/SETI/Mersenne updating every second the thousandth of percent progress. Moo/CPDN don't refresh the percentage quite as often, i.e. you get a couple infrequent jumps rather than a continuous one.

Well I have read the benchmarks on the 7970 and it is impressive, but the price tag is along the same line, and I read in other threads dnetc does not like its new architecture quite yet. 7950 not yet annouced, let alone 78xx. A 6950 is surely slower but it goes for ~$300 and is available tomorrow.

Hi there.
I'm probably going to pick an HD6950 in the coming days to replace my old 4850. Is there an advantage to pick a card with 2Gb of memory rather than 1Gb? The price difference is not that much.
Currently I can only run Moo! in the 4850 (get errors in the other projects), but I intend to switch the other projects (Prime, MilkyWay, Collatz) back on. Does larger memory size help with the "Leave applications in memory while suspended" option on?
