Tasks wont run on 980Ti rig
(Message 8078)
Posted 9 Dec 2018 by KAMasud Post: I have a problem concerning my 1060. New rig, when I first installed Boinc and logged on to Moowrap my Nvidia1060(8 minutes per WU) was crunching fine. Then my McAfee quarantined some files concerning Nvidia 1060 marking them as threats. My rig started crunching on HD Intel( 30 minutes?)? Anyway removed Boinc, got rid of all files from the directory concerning Boing, did a clean install. It is still refusing to use my Nvidia 1060? |

Moo does not like 7.X.X BOINC
(Message 3166)
Posted 16 May 2012 by KAMasud Post: Been saying that for quite some time, Boinc 7.x.x and Moo dont get along other then for those who play around with files. Not right, should work out of the box. Not every one has the time or the inclination or the knowledge to play around with files. Good luck with the roll back because once on to Boinc 7.x.x it starts behaving like a virus(other then folks with the knowledge) you may have to do a hard format. :)Like i said, not every one has the time or the inclination to dive under the HOOD. Wonder what Ageless has to say about this. Got quite excited when i brought it up on the Boinc Forums some where in Jan. Regards. |

Moo tasks ignore BOINC CPU preferences
(Message 2764)
Posted 25 Feb 2012 by KAMasud Post: Still linked to the thread but now some thing new. I have local preferences set to keep computing while laptop is on batteries. Why? My wish. Any way Moo is stubborn. On batteries it just won't crunch. At first i thought it was the version of Boinc with all attendent problems but no, the fault lies with MooWrap all the other projects run on batteries. Regards. |

Hormonal Disturbances and Moo.

Posted 18 Feb 2012 by KAMasud Post: I wish Moo would get some kind of medical help and stop having periodic Hormonal Disturbances, go completely of the grid and hay wire. If wishes were horses. Regards. |

Moo tasks ignore BOINC CPU preferences
(Message 2233)
Posted 14 Jan 2012 by KAMasud Post: " And there's no extra dnetc518* processes running (and taking CPU time)" The above sentence, what does it imply? I am asking this question because two days back there was some thing wrong with Boinc. On exit when i switched on the task manager i found one thread of the above mentioned active. I re-installed Boinc but no help. Then i had to delete the the Boinc folders and again clean install which seems to have solved the problem for the time being. |
