I believe Teemu is dependent on the folks on distributed net -- and they have not released any updated information in 10 days...

Looks like since you came back online that uploads and downloads are processing fine but credit is frozen.

Thanks Teemu for getting things fixed up so quickly.

As it is the weekend, I've a suspicion we won't see any correction until Monday at best.

Looks like the transitioner is stalled starting about 2 hours ago.

Not sure it is the transitioner -- but completed work waiting for validation started piling up two hours ago with no progress toward validation.

Validator stalled -- notice a start/restart of server processes -- but it didn't resolve a validator stall -- since earlier this evening.

Started again overnight. All completed work going into 'validation pending' hell.

I've got 200+ in that status and have temporarily suspended Moo and pushed over to Collatz, Milkyway and POEM pending resolution. Though of course prior to resolution, recognition of the issue is required....

The pendings appear to be dropping -- but VERY slowly. I suspect there is another (or a related) issue here. Perhaps it is a function of having so very many backlogged units to process. Perhaps there is either some disk churning going on here or simply a lack of memory to process things efficiently. Just guessing here --- but it has been a good five hours and the progress seems to be glacial.

I suspended processing on all but one workstation (couldn't get to it), as reporting additional completed work units is not likely to help matters.

OK -- thanks for the report back. For what it is worth, it has been about an hour since you reported that you'd identified the issue and resolved it and I've not yet seen any movement in my credits -- I have 220 Pending work units (I didn't check to see if that number was higher last night). But my credit count remains where it was last night.

Yup -- I saw that -- I reported the problem when I saw it yesterday via 'back channel' -- I saw various efforts server restarts and the like during last evening with out success -- I figure this may take a while to resolve. In the meantime I'm processing Collatz (which has had its one problems this week but is currently running) and Milkyway (on those workstations where my AMD driver,AMD GPU and BOINC version permit).

Hopefully this will be resolved within the next day.

I realize that both Moo and Collatz are 'one person shops' -- and so I figure patience should be in our personal inventory.

It isn't that the volume has pushed the servers offline -- rather that it appears to be more like traffic congestion -- my reports eventually went through on the fourth of fifth try. I figure to back off of Moo for a bit until the peak volume abates.

Looks like the effort to get more activity and users has the unintended consequence of overloading the software or the hardware. Reporting work is problematic due to : can't open database.

As to redirecting to other GPU projects -- perhaps our quiet admin agrees. That would explain the current lack of new work units.

Then again, this is speculation as there is limited news about status here generally.

Yeah, I get it -- I realize that two months ago there was server code updating going on -- but no feedback since then.

As we had another 'event' today, I suppose I'll set up for No New Work and then go into watch/wait mode here.

Those periodic unexplained outages are back.

Sorry but no blaming me this time, I have moved my gpu's elsewhere.
