Just checked in my boincstats, seems like this project decided to create a different cross project account key, is there anyway to correct this or merge into my old account?

As far as I know, I've registered the correct email address and other related info just as I would with any other project.

If your e-mail is the same on all projects then they will align in due time.
If you have more than one computer then it helps if at least one project is common across more than one of the computers.

But the CPIDs should correlate after a few days to maybe a week or so.

From BOINCStats FAQ:

********
"The cause of this is the CPID, Cross Project IDentifier. Every project assigns a new user a CPID. It is partly based on the email address you used to sign up, the other part is random.

The CPID is used by BOINCstats to identify a user across projects.

Whenever you sign up with a new project, you'll get a new account on BOINCstats because the CPID is new.

What to do to make sure you'll end up with one BOINCstats account:

- Use the exact same email address for every project.
- Run at least one system with all projects, or one system with project A and B, and one system with project B and C. If there is a project that runs isolated from the other projects, its CPID will never line up {sic: my italics, Zy}.

When you join a new project, this project assigns you a new CPID. This CPID can either change to the same CPID as the other projects, or the other projects change (one by one) to the new CPID."
********

So with your PC here its isolated (the italic part of the above). As Conan pointed out, it can take a few days to synch to the same CPID, however it will never synch at all if action is not taken to link Projects as in the FAQ extract. If the PC remains as is now, the CPIDs will never line up

Regards
Zy

Thanks for the replies.

Its been a week since my new CPID showed up. First joined and got credit on May 21st, boinc stats got updates for new CPID on the 28th.

One main home computer for all projects and very minor, on and off contributions to other projects using a work computer and a note book.
