I have a strange problem on my notebook. It has a Nvidia GPU and a Intel CPU with an integrated GPU (Intel UHD Graphics). In MooWrapper settings I only allow NVIDIA GPU tasks. Now it loads down tasks for NVIDIA GPU (says 0,25 CPUs+ 1 NVIDIA GPU). BUT only the Intel GPU has 100% load and these NVIDIA Tasks are running on the Intel GPU (100% usage). The NVIDIA GPU is at 0% usage. HOW can this be? I think my notebook is kidding me? Thanks for any idea what I can do. (BtW: In BOINC Log it recognizes both GPUs correctly. But both are namend GPU 0 there. Maybe that's the problem?) |

With hidden computers it's a bit hard to guess, but do you have <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>in your cc_config.xml? EDIT: we don't have an intel GPU app here, so BOINC should not use that GPU at all for Moo! Wrapper. It might be caused by some energy saving feature, that the app is running on the wrong GPU. You need to unhide your computers, so we can see Stderr output of your tasks. |
