Any hope for a Linux app? |

Any hope for a Linux app? Sure, there's hope. :) Wrapper code should be portable and dnet has Linux clients available. Only thing is that I'm not sure what ATI/CUDA libraries I need to bundle or if they come with Linux distros.. I don't have any Linux systems with ATI/CUDA cards so I can't test it myself. I take it you have? Any others wanting Linux support? -w |

Do you really need to ask that question? Good point. I should have known better than to ask a question that has an obvious answer. :) -w |

Any update. I can test it myself if i have app. I'm planning to port the next application version (with new wrapper that fixes bugs I've recently seen) to Linux as well. I'm already working on the new version but some other more urgent changes have taken my time recently. Anyway, I'm getting there.. slowly but surely. -w |

Thank you! Works well in Ubuntu10.10x64. Much better compared to DNETC@Home linux. Ran smoother compared to Collatz x64 bin. Now awaiting first WU to complete... :D Thanks again! |

@Clog, No, Ubuntu with low-end ATI-stream. The CUDA-case we discussed is a Win7x64 notebook. A slight bit of problem - http://moowrap.net/result.php?resultid=223140 I suspended the WU to run a bench then resumed. As you can see I got an error. Unfortunately I need to shutdown the experimental cruncher this week. Will keep you posted next week. Thanks and keep up the great job! :D |

Update: WUs running fine and validated - the screen is ever responsive even thru VNC! :) Thanks! |
