Norton internet security keeps coming up saying a file it's getting from bonic is virus infected.

Can you tell me what I should o as every time it downloads it says the same thing:

This is because they are looking at 'the way things are being done' not an actual virus itself, they change so often that wouldn't work.
If you just exclude the Boinc directories from your a/v scans then you will not get these false positives anymore. ALL Projects aggressively scan their systems
to keep viruses away so the chance of getting one from them is very small so excluding the Boinc directories is a good thing, any REAL virus will try to break out of the Boinc directories and be caught by Norton, in your case, and then you can handle it appropriately.
