I have run MooWrapper on much older and lower-end GPUs than your R9 270x (including the GPU part of a pair of A10-5700s and a bunch of HD 7750s), as well as on as high as the R9 290. Try driver version 15.12 - that seems to be the best performance highest stability driver for any AMD GCN cards prior to the Fury. I suspect however that you have a configuration issue somewhere. |

i think i tried 15 point something and the config is default ill look for that driver and try again. it did work about a year ago on that card but i stopped running this for a while. i tried all the other older work around's posted here. If anyone else is having this issues i will update when i get home if this solved it. |

Google search on 15.12 catalyst *should* find the AMD download page for it - unless you are running on XP or older Windows version, or perhaps a Mac. As I recall from the rebadge between the HD 7xxx series and the R9 2xx series, your 270x was the HD 7870 in the previous generation - I've got *2* of those cards been running Moo for quite a while now, under both Windows in the past and currently in a LINUX machine. Any of the versions between 15.7 and 15.12 should WORK though - if you're still getting failing work units, you have a configuration issue somewhere or your card might be dying. |
