Which driver are you using? I can see your OpenCL version is 1912.5 but that could be 15.11 or 15.12. With Cat 15.7.1 on my R9 390x I'm getting: [Feb 23 14:40:52 UTC] Unable to initialize OpenCL. [Feb 23 14:40:52 UTC] *Break* Shutting down... 09:40:53 (3412): dnetc520-win32-x86-opencl.exe exited; CPU time 0.000000 09:40:53 (3412): input buffer 12 packets (2144 bytes), checkpoint file 0 packets (0 bytes), output buffer 0 packets (0 bytes) 09:40:53 (3412): premature exit detected, app exit status: 0xfffffffd 09:40:53 (3412): wrapper: running dnetc520-win32-x86-opencl.exe (-ini dnetc.ini -runoffline -multiok=1) - attempt 2/10 |

Thanks. The 16.x driver are still Beta. Once a 16.x driver moves to release I I'll give Moo another chance with the 390. |

still looking for that app info file if anyone has one thatll work with this thing Not sure why you want an app_info.xml, but this is the one I use. <app_info> <app> <name>dnetc</name> <user_friendly_name>Moo! Wrapper</user_friendly_name> </app> <file_info> <name>dnetc_wrapper_1.4_windows_intelx86__opencl_ati_101.exe</name> <executable/> </file_info> <file_info> <name>dnetc520-win32-x86-opencl.exe</name> <executable/> </file_info> <file_info> <name>dnetc-gpu-1.4.ini</name> </file_info> <file_info> <name>job-win32-opencl-520.1.xml</name> </file_info> <app_version> <app_name>dnetc</app_name> <version_num>104</version_num> <platform>windows_intelx86</platform> <plan_class>opencl_ati</plan_class> <file_ref> <file_name>dnetc_wrapper_1.4_windows_intelx86__opencl_ati_101.exe</file_name> <main_program/> </file_ref> <file_ref> <file_name>dnetc520-win32-x86-opencl.exe</file_name> <copy_file/> </file_ref> <file_ref> <file_name>dnetc-gpu-1.4.ini</file_name> <open_name>dnetc.ini</open_name> <copy_file/> </file_ref> <file_ref> <file_name>job-win32-opencl-520.1.xml</file_name> <open_name>job.xml</open_name> <copy_file/> </file_ref> <coproc> <type>ATI</type> <count>1</count> </coproc> </app_version> </app_info> |

cant get it to work,so guess i really dont need it What could you not get to work? Doing a copy/post into notepad, saving the as app_info.xml in the project folder, and restarting BOINC should be all that is needed. The only reason I can think of as to why you might want to use app_info.xml is to increase the number of task on the GPU. However to do that you would really want to use app_config.xml instead. |

really didnt realise my stats were as high as they were.didnt try app config though, did it as app info.xml, and it never saw it.ill give it a try the other way and see what it does.like you said, probably wont get to much more out of it,got the wu running just under 14 minutes on the huge ones,as it is.if i could shave another minute or so off, that would be nice. |
