Cannot upload avatar, nor create profile

The error message was the same for the avatar: Fatal error: Call to undefined function gd_info() in /home/boincadm/projects/moo/html/inc/image.inc on line 23 and for the profile, read: Fatal error: Call to undefined function imageCreateFromPNG() in /home/boincadm/projects/moo/html/user/create_profile.php on line 131 I'll wait to see if anyone else has had a similar problem, or knows of a way round it that I can try.
