No I will win!

Err...i will too.

Maybe I will!

Maybe not.

I don't know either.

I do know - I'm will.

Could be, kinda sorta depends on the timing of it all.

Hmm...intresting.

It is going to S-N-O-W at my place today with a prediction of 5 to 8 INCHES before it's done!! When we get TWO inches people abandon their cars right in the MIDDLE OF THE ROADS and start walking everywhere. Essentially Washington DC will SHUT DOWN TODAY if the weather man is right!! These people are SOOOO pathetic!!

Huh. People start walking.
Winning in the snow.

It snowed about 3 inches at my place, I have 4 wheel drive vehicles so I do not shovel unless I absolutely have too! But back to the 'walking' part, yes people abandon their cars and trucks right in the middle of the street and walk away from them! One year we had 6 to 8 inches of snow and the interstates were blocked in both directions for MILES because people just decided to get out and walk! The theory is they got stuck, frustrated and gave up and just decided to start walking. Once one person did it and blocked part of the road the next person had less road to drive on and if they got stuck then the whole road was blocked anyway, so everyone else just gave up too! I am talking dozens and dozens of cars being abandoned right in the middle of the hi-way!!! The fines those people had to pay for the tow trucks to clear the roads was HUGE and they ALL complained and screamed and yelled, but in the end they paid anyway!! They learned the hard way to stay home when it is beyond their skills and abilities to be out.

Turns out we have more people learning it the hard way, over half a dozen did it again yesterday and it didn't even snow yesterday!! They just got stuck and walked away from their cars, the police came and towed them all away with the News reporting each driver will be find in the hundreds of dollars!!

We have snow predicted on Monday, the high will be in the upper 30'sF so it CAN'T be that much, and there are STILL people hording tp, bread and milk starting last night!! It's like they think they won't be able to go out for MONTHS or something!! Most of the people doing it live in the big city, Wash DC, where they have a mom and pop grocery store on every other block! I just don't understand the mindset, a roll of tp will last more then a day or two in a house with a family of 4, why buy 20 or 30 rolls for a snowstorm that will be gone in 2 days? They do the same thing for milk and bread, often getting into fights over kinds they don't even like, 'just in case'! If I am desperate I buy a pound or 2 of beans, some cornmeal and flour and make a pot of beans that will last me at least 3 days!! There's always the pizza delivery guy too!!

The last time we were hording in Sweden was during WWII. Maybe also during Suez for gasoline. But there are strong regulations about gasoline and oil products.
In an apartmenthouse there is only allowed to store 5 liters of petroleumproducts and that goes for all apartments. So it is stupid even to try. I don´t know if police has K9 for sniffing purpose!

Anyhow WINNING!!!

I don't know if police have dogs that can sniff for that either, but I do know they can train a dog to sniff for almost anything if they want to. But that's a pretty cool law, I can see where people in apartment houses don't need too much oil, it's not like they have to mow the grass or anything.
