Hi all !

I have a problem (approx since the announcement, dealing with the XML config).
I have two GPU card, and I have an option in the cc_config.xml setting the GPU #1 to work and not the #0. It's working for other project, and worked for Moo before.
Now, Moo is using only the #0 instead of ignoring it.

Edit : it seems to switch with the good GPU card without doing nothing.
Weird.
I'll see with the next task how it goes.

An idea ?
Thanks.

You have your pc's hidden so I can't see which version of Boinc you are using but if you were to upgrade to a Beta version from 7.0.40 or above you would get access to this: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/ClientAppConfig
Here is the link to the full Boinc Development List:
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_forum.php?id=2 with the Boinc 7 change log and news being the top item on the list. It gives links and explains the changes from version to version. One of the link is to the full set of options for the cc_config.xml file. If you were to use a few of the debug features you might be able to figure out what is going on and then try to figure out why.

Oh sorry, my boinc client is version 7.0.27. I'll see with the next task.
But i just saw that with version 7.0.25 or above, there is an other option in the prefs in projects websites : the work per days AND the add work per day. My setting was automatically set in the additional, and there was nothing in the work per day option.

In the 7 series the numbers are very LITERAL, meaning when it says "minimum work buffer" the number in there means it will NOT get any new work until it runs down to that number, unless it physically runs out of work. In the next part "max additional work buffer" means in addition to the minimum you want that much work. What I do is put 0.75 in the minimum work box and 0.25 in the max additional box, and I end up with about 24 hours of work. Putting the larger number in the first box maintains a higher minimum, it is the reverse of the Boinc 6 way of doing things.
