I´m just curious, What´s your average price for 1 Kwh in US$? And how much does your PC´s consume per day? My price in Sweden is about 0,89 kr/Kwh. My house is using about 15.000 Kwh/year for heating, lightand all different electronic stuff. During the winter I use wood for heating the radiators if I´m not to lazy. Mikey, do you overcharge your electricity wiring if you have a power failure. I don´t know what you call this stuff, but for me it is like this.
You have three different lines L1 L2 and L3 or phases. The power must be equaly splitted between this three phases or your plug fuse will go bananas. Is that what happens? By the way, I went back to 7.0.27 and I now can crunch Einstein again I hope. I have not checked the performance, but I will soon.
Almost forgot WINNING!
Take good care my friends, It is so nice to have this small chat whith you. Little nagging and teasing.

Here in the US there are basically two kinds of power, regular single phase 110volt that feeds into every home and a 220volt line that comes into every home that feeds things like a kitchen cooking stove and the electric dryer. They both come in on the same main wire from the 'pole' and are then split off at a large electric panel. In my area the wires are ALL underground, which is why I put 'pole' in those thingys. MOST people have circuit breakers, but ALOT of older homes still have the screw in fuses that blow and must be replaced when they do. The difference is the amperage in the wires going to each circuit, some are 15amp, some are 20 amp, some are 30 amp etc. The smaller 'regular' circuits are 15amp ones, while the freezer is usually a 20 amp, then the electric furnace can be on a 50amp, or higher, circuit. Voltage and amps are different, I am sure you know that already! I ran a 20 amp circuit for my pc's in the basement a couple of years ago as the regular 15amp one wasn't enough when I started adding gpu's to all the machines. I am now maxed out on the 20amp circuit and either need to replace it with a 30amp circuit or something else. When you up the amperage it is a simple circuit breaker change at the panel, but NORMALLY the wire, from the panel to the outlets, must be replaced too to handle the higher amperage.
I am not sure what my electric rate per hour is, I have not looked at a bill in awhile, my wife pays the bills, it helps keeps her spending down. But I am spending roughly $600.00 a month on my all electric home, while my neighbors with a similar sized home and household are paying around $250.00 a month! So a little more than twice what they pay is my cost of keeping the computers running.
DigitalDingus all it takes is cash flow! If you have it you are golden, if not then you up a creek. I made the choice a long time ago to 'afford' my pc hobby of crunching, and I do. Do I not do some other things, sure we all make choices everyday. I chose to run my pc's, I am now retired and chose to eat lunch at home everyday instead of going out like when I was working. I was lucky in my retirement plan at the Fire Dept in that when I started I had the option to take the cash or the military style retirement. I chose the cash option and over time have done okay in the stock market and the money grew to a point that I think I can now live comfortably AND afford to still run my pc's too. I now let the Pro's manage my money and it is doing better then when I had it as they have a TON more options then I did thru my old work. I was making about an 8% return per year even during the 'recession', which I thought was pretty good considering I only about 10 funds to chose from! The Pro's now have me in over 20 funds and of course the money is growing faster. More choices means more diversity, so one goes down and two go up!

Oh don't even mention 'open fields' right now!! I am SOOOO mad at the company 'supposedly' putting in the new fencing, they have said the wolves ate one of their workers, the evidence says he just drove away with a bunch of equipment and perhaps even the payroll money for a week. Now the company is refusing to even go out of their warehouse anymore until I hire some guys to go out and kill EVERY wolf within 20 miles!! There is NO WAY that is going to happen and they are REFUSING to just leave!! My attorney will be sending a letter this morning and then seeing the Judge to evict them from my warehouse!!

Oh, no. Tedious hear about knowing our company has been a problem. Let's hope that the company may be banned from the wolves out of the meadow. If the wolves can not get rid of, we have a problem: Horses are can not run free in a meadow. After this, the fertilizer supply is much more difficult. Without fertilizer tomatoes will not grow as well. This leads to a terrible chain reaction. I hope that the wolves are banned from the meadows. Winning!

Oh this was not a local company, this company was flown in as they are good fencing guys back in Ireland, and their bid left enough room for both of us to make some money! I think the problem is they are just not ready to work hard away from home. I amy end up rebidding the job, which basically means starting ALL OVER and hopefully I can find some local guys to do the job this time. The commercial growers are getting VERY impatient, they LOVE the fertilizer your horses provide and want to get growing NOW!! BUT we can't go around just killing all the wolves whenever we see them! They play their part in cleaning up the environment and culling the other animals that are hurt or lame. Essentially they get rid of the bad animals, which helps the strong survive.

It's true. For any animal can not be slaughtered or field is in trouble because of excessive fertilization. Matters, it is important to maintain a balance weighed the advantages and disadvantages. At this moment horses seem to to be doing well while running away from the wolves. Winning!

Welcome back!
Tapio the local government has gotten wind of the fencing and has put a stop to it for now! They think we are trying to fence IN the wolves and don't think wolves should be confined to a field!! I tried to tell them everything that is going on but they aren't listening!! I may have to go over to Bernt's place and look at fencing the water areas there. I have gotten some GOOD feedback from some commercial fisherman that like the idea and are willing to pay for the fencing! We just need to do some trials on hole size for the fencing and we could be good to go. We want to keep the bad fish out, ie tuna and sharks, while the good fish can come in. The thinking is that as long as there is food the good fish should come in and hang out as they aren't in danger of being eaten by the bigger fish! There will have to be STRICT limits on how much the fishermen can catch, but they said as long as they can make money they are IN!!

Hm. Fish farming is a problem. Horses can not run in deep water. Maybe we can hidden fence so well that the authorities are not aware of it. This gives us a new source of income. We are able to to increase horses, farm the land and farming fish.
