I think that you have understood something terribly wrong.

Mikey was posting how his RAC was falling, see below. That means I can drag myself to post another win ...

My RAC IS down from the just over 2 million per day at the peak here at Moo, I AM slowly coming back up but will probably never get to those heights again. I am currently about 1.35 million per day and am struggling to maintain that! I have had to put a pc in the same room as my thermostat and of course it is making the room warmer then the temp set to allow the heat to come on. Fortunately it is not cold in here right now, but next week it is supposed to get colder so I may have to turn it off! My main problem though is that since the system upgrades I have 2 pc's, each with dual gpu's in them, that just won't crunch for Moo. They download the units just fine but refuse to even START crunching!! Those 2 pc's alone are giving me over 500k RAC per day over at Collatz, and that is LOW compared to what Moo is paying! One of them alone got that much here at Moo pre upgrade.

As for taking away some credits...if that happens you can count me out of here!! I KNOW it can't happen so it isn't a problem!! BUT instead of me sharing you guys just need to get more pc's!! I have 6 pc's here at Moo, 1 with dual gpu's in it. And as I said I have 2 more pc's at Collatz, each with dual gpu's in them. I then have 2 pc's with Nvidia cards crunching for DistRTgen right now and 3 pc's with NO gpu's in them!! One of the last 3 is my brand new i7 quad core laptop, ht'd to 8 cores. It replaced an older dual core laptop I used for over 6 years and I am hoping this one will do the same! I pick up pc's by the side of the road, from friends who upgrade, I even tell my friends that I will take ALL their older pc stuff and reuse what I can. Lots of those turn into crunchers, but some just turn into parts machines where I strip the parts out and keep what I need or can use later on. I have enough 'parts' to build SEVERAL more machines, complete ones with everything! The FIRST thing I do to someone elses pc is run DBAN on it and wipe the hard drive clean. I do not even boot it up into Windows, I just boot it into DBAN and wipe the drives!! Then I check the bios for how new the pc is and if it is good enough I keep it, if not I strip it for parts.

I admire your enthusiasm for the crunching for different projects. I would not dare to take away any of your RAC. We are of course just teasing and envy your effort that you are bringing to the separat projects. I will win anyhow!

Hey I was able to get one of my two pc's that just won't crunch for Moo back on again. I had to delete my cc_config.xml file telling it to use both gpu's separately instead of both together. The other pc just downloads a bunch of files and then just sits there not crunching them at all! I left it alone for over 30 minutes, I have it set TO crunch while the pc is being used, and NOTHING!! So it is back on Collatz. The pc I was able to bring back I will let run as it for a day or so, then try the cc_config file again and see if I can't get each gpu to run its own unit. It is the same pc that was producing almost 500K RAC per day when connected in the past, but running two units at once.

I had to move pc's around this morning and I now have one without a wireless network card that can't crunch right now, I hope to fix that tomorrow and then it will be back on line. I need to run a wire to it before I install the network card so it can install the drivers itself and I don't have enough power where the wires are right now!!

I turned it all back on for right now but we will see what happens from here. I may have to call an electrician and see if he can give me more power!

I skipped lunch yesterday, I had a bigger than normal breakfast, and then ahd a bigger then normal dinner. It is now 7:30AM and I am almost ready for breakfast again!

Get more PCs? Yeah, right. If I was living in Arizona, and my PCs were solar-powered...I'd be game. But I live in Portland, OR where everything is massively over-priced.
