I have two separate machines, one with 3 Ati Gpu Cores and another with 3 Nvidia Gpu cores.

I have found an app_info.xml here for the Ati's but I can't find one for the Nvida's.

Any chance some Admin could sticky a Thread with the correct versions of the .xml for each somewhere?

None of my boxes will even start a Wu without one...

Have you placed a "use all GPUs" file in the BOINC folder first?

Assuming your OS is Windows, have you extended the Desktop for each GPU as well?

Not trying to "teach my Grandmother", but I am not assuming anything ...

In addition do you have a dummy plug or monitor hooked up to each gpu? The dummy plug is easy to make yourself:
http://www.overclock.net/t/384733/the-30-second-dummy-plug Radio Shack, in the US, sells a pack of 5 of the resistors for under 2 dollars.

Damn, I guess you are teaching your Grandmother.... I have never used a Dummy plug before, I have heard talk of them but I never needed one. I extended the desk tops, No dice, I put in the CC config still nothing...
This is a dedicated Shrubber, it runs Prime Grid just fine, I just will go back to that while I consider whether or not I feel like going thru the Hassle. Thanks Guys

Ya know, What I don't understand is why I only have to go thru this with the Nvidia cards. The Ati's hooked up just fine. is it Moo or Nvidia's fault?

Neither...it is MICROSOFT'S fault!!! It's the way MS thinks you should be using the gpu's that you put in your machine, why would someone spend hundreds of bucks and NOT use it? They had no concept of crunching when they wrote that code. I have the same problem with my AMD cards. IF you have another monitor close you can plug it into the 2nd card on bootup of the machine and then unplug it and all will be fine until it reboots again. The monitor extension cables are pretty cheap but so are the dummy plugs. Dummy plugs are SO easy to make I am really surprised someone hasn't made them and sold them for 5 bucks apiece, making a 3 dollar profit PER plug!! I have made 3 so far and have the stuff to make 2 more when needed. Every motherboard I buy from now on will support dual gpu's at least, I have 4 so far.

I don't use dummyplug.
I use the DVI on the first card to the monitor and then on the second card i use hdmi to the monitor or to a TV.

That will work too, you just need to have something LIVE plugged into the 2nd card on bootup so MS doesn't disable it as not being used. Before I made my first dummy plug I used to run a monitor extension cable I have over to it so it would 'see' it as it booted, then I would remove the cable and all would be fine.
