There has been some strange networking problems affecting our proxy connection to the D.net upstream key distribution servers. This is the reason why our work generators have failed to generate fresh work and we've run out of work to send to you. I'm working on trying to figure out what's the problem here. AFAIK, these problems don't affect any other connections or your ability to upload/download work.

In fact, while working on this I broke the network on the server totally and that's the reason we were offline for over 12h. Services are now back up and backlog is getting worked through. Sorry about that, I'll try to be more careful in the future!

Oops,

work should be flowing again. Seems like our scheduler thought there was nothing to send even those there was plenty. Must have been the FCGI setting I turned on yesterday, sorry about that.

Same problem here, or its sending them one at a time...Not sure why BOINC fixed the program like this either, seems to be holding up progress for those of us that like to micro manage the work load, but now we have to suspend a WU to get the next one, rinse and repeat until all of the WU's appear in the task list...definitely slowing progress and I'm sure most crunchers aren't much for the idea that there should just be those few who run BOINC or projects occasionaly in screen saver or schedule mode or that the rest of us should be limited to that output. As per the release notes on the latest BOINC version regarding changes made to the scheduler, well change them back its slowing progress overall for all projects not getting a full list or page worth of tasks at a time.

When you switched to ver 7 from ver 6 did you reverse your cache settings? In ver 7 it says "minimum work buffer" this is literal! It means that is the minimum amount of work cache that is okay for your pc to maintain BEFORE it asks for more work. The next section says "max additional work buffer", this is the additional cache it will try and maintain. When you look at ver 6 it says "connect about every" and "additional work buffer [] days (max 10)". Subtle but SUBSTANTIAL differences!!! If you just reverse the numbers when going from ver 6 to ver 7 your cache should fill up again and your Boinc should operate like you want it to.

This is what I'm getting now:

Moo! Wrapper 07-17-12 08:09 Requesting new tasks for ATI
Moo! Wrapper 07-17-12 08:09 Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
Moo! Wrapper 07-17-12 08:09 No tasks sent
Moo! Wrapper 07-17-12 08:09 Tasks for NVIDIA GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them
Moo! Wrapper 07-17-12 08:09 Tasks for CPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them

Thought all the GPU tasks were the same?
