Winning from Somerset West in South Africa! My dad went to South Korea as a soldier, does that count? My dad then joined the Air Force as an Officer and we traveled the World moving every 2 to 3 years. I then joined the Navy and traveled the Mediterranean for 6 years. Oh and Cuba is HOT in the summer time!!! I went there 3 different times for Training, that was LONG before any of the new 'prisoners' went there though. WINNING!!! |

My dad went to South Korea as a soldier, does that count? Naw I was born in Detroit, Michigan but only stayed there for about 5 days before I was on an airplane to Tripoli, Libya where I learned to speak Italian, but have since forgotten EVERY bit of it! I left when I was 3 years old. WINNING!!! |

My dad went to South Korea as a soldier, does that count? To bad! Why not pick it up again. It is always good to be multilingual. Parliamo italiano un poco e muolto bella. Look at Tapio. He is from Mongolia and speaks fluent finnish. It is very strange, but maybe he is in the field looking for his lost language. Oops I almost forgot, WINNING! |

Winning, while thinking of my birth place, where over 5 years I learnt to speak English (UK),Tamil, Gurkani and Hindi. Forgotten most of it, like Mikey, including English. |

Winning, while thinking of my birth place, where over 5 years I learnt to speak English (UK),Tamil, Gurkani and Hindi. Forgotten most of it, like Mikey, including English. John I left Detroit as such an early age that there was nothing to remember and I have never been back, I didn't lose anything there that I know of! Bernt from Libya I came back to the US for 5 years then to Japan for 3 years where we had a housekeeper who took both my sister and I home with her to Tokyo occasionally. We both learned to speak 'some' Japanese but it too is now gone! I CAN count to five or ten in most of the languages but that is about it anymore. I can recognize some words if other speak them but for the most part have no idea what they are saying. Like your sentence I think it is saying that Italian is a little bit beautiful or nice, but I could be way off. I THINK "poco" means little and "muolto bella" means nice or beautiful. My mom tells me, when she could, that I used to sit in front of the front door and tell the housekeeper 'no un dari casa' my spelling is probably WAAAAY off, but she said it meant 'no you can't go home'. WINNING!!! |
