So, I'm thinking I may have some permissions problems lately, but I was wondering where most of you who use Windows 7 Ultimate x64--where is your moowrap folder installed? X:\BOINC\ or X:\Program Files or X:\Program Files (x86). Trying to troubleshoot my issues lately. For some reason, my machine has been crashing too often. Had a -108 error and a number of couldn't start Can't link input file: 2 errors.

I had the exact same problem the other day when I installed the newest version, I have since re-installed it and all is okay again. Yes Boinc is STILL in the same place as before the hidden directory C:]Program Data\Boinc\projects\moowrap.net

If you are JUST going to ver 7 remember to check your ver 6 cache settings and reverse them in ver 7. The names are the same but they do MUCH different things now!!

By default Moowrap uses ALL available gpus to process a workunit, so what you are seeing is normal. It usually starts out running 2 units then swaps to just one unit on the two cards usually within a few days or so. I too have some 5870's crunching but also some 5770's too. A lone 5870 is getting about 270k RAC per day, while a single 5770 is getting about 160k RAC per day. In one machine I have BOTH a 5770 and a 5870 and they are getting about 415k RAC per day, and it is still climbing! My dual 5770 machine is not online here at the moment.

Oh and version 7.0.27 fixes some of the problems with 7.0.25, not ALL of them but some.
