Running Dist.net Client 1.03 for ati 1.4 Are you running more than 1 gpu project on that gpu? It could be the switching back and forth is causing issues. One other thing I see, this is what I see on the far right on one of your valid units: Distributed.net Client v1.03. And this is what I see on one of mine: Distributed.net Client v1.03 (ati14). Also if you look at your units is says: 3,580.75 3,580.75 72.00, while mine says: 1,983.70 66.61 6,144.00. Granted the gpu's are NOT identical but your cpu time is the same length as your run time! You seem to be doing cpu units NOT gpu units. If a gpu hangs in Windows the ONLY way to reset it is to reboot the pc, MS in its infinite wisdom did not put a gpu reset code into Windows! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!! I scrolled to the bottom and saw this: 4,984.28 4,685.19 256.00 Distributed.net Client v1.03 (ati14). So you ARE doing gpu units but the cpu is STILL doing most of the work, this indicates you need to restart the pc as the gpu's are offline. One thing to be careful of is do NOT upgrade to the latest and greatest gpu software as it is often optimized for gamers not us crunchers! Version 11.9 of the CCC software seems to work the best, although some have found 12.1 or even 12.3 to be okay. With crunching it seems that when you find one that works well for you stick with it! One other thing to try is to stop 1 core of your cpu and see if that helps, it doesn't for me but it could for you. Even though you are using your gpu it still needs to use the cpu to feed it work and to then handle the finished unit when it is done. |
