Slower crunching could be because of the bigger units we are working thru, give it some time. You are now crunching units successfully and things seem to be working correctly. Yes you are getting 6500 credits per unit instead of the former 7k but we all are. Another problem could be that you are using a VERY new version of the AMD software, I am using version 11.9 and it is working fine, some of the newer ones have issues crunching, gaming is fine but crunching has issues! |

just seems like an hour is kind of a long time for these things.was wondering if they had started sending bigger work units.guess we will see what happens down the road. |

All of my 5770's take about an hour to run thru a workunit, that is according to Boinc on the pc. My 5870's take about 1/2 hour as does the dual 5770 setup I have. |

Not that we've changed anything but looks like your host got bumped to use huge workunits instead of normal ones around the 18th of Dec. The change can happen automatically once our system collects enough information of how fast your host really is. It's correct for a 5700 series card to be crunching huge work. Change does indeed mean there's more to process and thus it takes about an hour to go through a huge wu instead of around 15 minutes for the normal wu. This is a good thing since you they give more credits and there's less interruptions for the crunching. It also keeps our overhead smaller due to lessening the work floating around for you. :) -w |
