Message 2918 - Posted: 18 Mar 2012, 14:30:24 UTC - in response to Message 2917.

Mikey Mikey, You don´t stand a chance to the must stubborn swede in the whole wide world. I AM WINNING AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I KNEW you were stubborn, you live in a place with beautiful women and it is COLD all the time!!! But I am still WINNING!!!

I'm sure that you joking. Sweden is beautiful in the summer but not quite as beautiful as the the neighboring country Finland. Winning when Bernt whining. :-)

You are right Tapio, Finland is beautiful and the country of the thousand lakes. For you who might not know that Finland once upon time was a part of Sweden. I might think that we here in Sweden has more then thousand lakes. By the way, I´m not whining, I´m just winning. Mikey you will not win, I am sorry to inform you in this brute way. Take it like a man, don´t cry! For your info, we have hot summers, when you talk about coldness think about Canada. It is in your part of the hemisphere.

Of course I know that Finland has been part of Sweden. Finland was also part of the Russian. But it was a long time ago. You dont need worry about the fact that Finland is not part of sweden. I think that there is enough lakes in Sweden, even though Finland is not part of Sweden. If you are worried that in Sweden you do not have own lake to you, you can come to Finland. Here you can choose your favorite lake for swimming. :-)

Tapio my friend, I was trying to educate Mikey a little. He is living in the US and he might think that sweden is the same as switserland. I know that you know the history about our countries. By the way WINNING!

Oh no Mikey KNOWS that Sweden is NOT Switzerland NOR is it Finland!! Mikey also KNOWS that Summer is NOT your only season of the year!!! Yes Canada can be cold but I have lived in Alaska and it IS cold!!! Sweden and Finland can also be VERY cold too!!! I currently live about 30 miles south of Washington DC in Virginia, it is a suburb and is nice. We usually get some snow every Winter but not much, 6 inches or so per year is our average. In the Summer it can get up into the low 100's but it doesn't stay there long, usually it is in the 80's or 90's with fairly high humidity, 70 to 90% or so, but even that doesn't stay for months and months, usually a few weeks at a time then back down to more moderate temps then it changes again!

WINNING!!!

Mikey , Mikey,

You are completly lost in the wilderness of Virginia. Nice place by the way according to my youngest daughter. She was aupair in a family for quite many years ago. She really loved to be in the US, but the family was not that funny.

Now I lost track. I was going to say once again that I am WINNING and you are not.

Yes lots of us East Coast people are too day to day stuff and we lose our ability to have fun in life anymore! We are all rush, rush, with our careers, kids stuff, parties etc, etc. Life is waaay too busy to have fun anymore!!! Now I am retired so I have slowed down and now only do what I WANT to do, when I want to do it!! As for me living in the 'wilderness' I don't think so, I live in a neighborhood of 1200 homes, not people, HOMES!! That is not my idea of 'wilderness', although it is built around a 100 acre lake. Most of us can see the lake sometimes as we drive around and we have 'public' access areas and 3 man-made beaches we can use.

Well, I really live in the countryside. It is 2 km to the town centre. We live approx 7,500 people in the community. I´m elected as a county auditor by as a will of the people of the county. We are appointed for four years. We check that all community activities are done in a proper way. If not, then the responsible political people are in deep s...it. We are quite powerful as you can imagine.

Five hundred meters away I have quite a big forrest where you can stroll around listen to the birds and from time to time also can meet wild animals like mouse and springbock. There is six homes placed in an arc where we live. Nice and quiet. Anyhow I´m WINNING!

Living on an island means it is only a short win, you have too much fun time as it is!

Bernt that sounds like fun, except the auditing part, too much like work!! I do have a park near me that is a few hundred acres or so but I only go there to drop off the squirrels I catch on my deck, they go there to make 'new friends' or whatever. It is far enough away, about 3 miles, they won't come back and eat any more of my tomatoes I have in my planters!

Amica Mia Coconut,

I really whish you will win, but unfortenately I think Mikey will win because he is so persistant. Against better knowledge I still claim the WINNING of this very long thread. Tapio, are you trying to kill us? Have you lost control of the number of post that we need to make to satisfy your goal? Shall we start a revolution in Finland?

I'm not trying to kill anyone. I overestimate number of writers.

But...at that message/day rate this theard will end on next 2 weeks if this information helps you to write harder to this topic.

To mr Mikey: Cossacks have returned to a meadow. They trod your garden to the ground. I hope that you will get it up again before this thread is finished.

I'm sorry but I do not understand you. You write that Mikey is talking about hurting you. Whether you have microphone and speakers through which you speak? If so, I can not intervene because it goes beyond this thread. But ... Thread will continue. Do not give up. The end date looms near.
