The Transitioner backlog figure (at time of post) is showing 366,627hrs - obviously wrong at circa 41 year queue :) Another minor side effect of the server upgrade possibly ? |

Hi, Yeah, I noticed the same and was looking at transitioner, which was going along nicely at the time. :) I believe that value was due to the server switching away from daylight savings time last night. Problem seems to have corrected itself now. -w |

Hello again, Aha! This was indeed a regression from the update. There was a bug introduced in r24483 (see http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/changeset/24484/boinc) that set incorrect transition time (always 21600 in our case) for results that are sent to clients. This is not that critical since transitioner will fix it during it's next cycle but might increase load on the transitioner a bit. :( I'll see if they have fixed it upstream or if I need to do it. Thanks for making sure I knew about this strangeness! -w |

Hi, Okay, it seems upstream had fixed the problem and I have now deployed a new server revision that should contain the fix for this annoyance. -w |
