I went to the RC-72 website and noticed that there is a prize for the person and the team that discover the key. Since Moo Wrapper is a wrapper for RC-72 I was wondering what would happen if a BOINC user found the key.

I don't think there can be any deviations from distributed.net policy* on the matter. So part of the money would go to the BOINC user and part to his/hers team set in the distributed.net stats system (so the BOINC team used doesn't matter there). By default there's no team set for any user using the default @moowrap.net Distributed.net ID so the team prize would go to the user as well. Anyone using custom Distributed.net ID can set the team (and also vote for the non-profit organization that will get the bulk of the money) on the D.net Stats site.
