22) Message boards : Number crunching : Not receiving work (Message 3008) Posted 6 Apr 2012 by john Post: i guess moo dosent like the 7xxx version of boinc.not getting any work again.i was running 6.12.34 ,belive thats the current app version,but running it the gpu goes haywire.the activity floats from nothing to 100%,and back to nothing or anywhere in between.7xx version,gpu smooths out,nice and stable,but moo stops sending work.all my other projects keep work coming steadyguess ill have to wait and see how many days i have to wait to get work again

26) Message boards : Number crunching : Not receiving work (Message 2480) Posted 1 Feb 2012 by john Post: yes im over clocked on both the cpu and gpu.cpu 3.3 from 3.0,and the gpu930,from 850.not having heating issues,cpu runs about 115 f,gpu runs 57 c.think it may have something to do with bm im running,7.0.12.been runnig that for a week ,i think,havent had any problems till today,not getting any work for any projects again.if i run bm 6.12.34,dosent have any problems getting work,for anything.
27) Message boards : Number crunching : Runtimes with 1.3 version (Message 2366) Posted 22 Jan 2012 by john Post: was having problems last week as well.went from about 54 minutes on the huge wu,to over 4 hours.the activity on the gpu would bounce around like a pin ball machine,then go to zero for 30 minutes or more,then start bouncing again.was told fragmented work units.tried going to boinc 7.0.8,no improvement.added the app info file,no help either.i even put in the pre release from amd for the 12.1 driver for the gpu,still no help.oh,btw,7.0.8 caused more problems than it solved.pretty much everything began failing...http internal server errors,no uploads or down loads.finally got fed up and dumped everything,reinstalled 6.12.34,dumped the app info file,now im getting the small work units and everything is working like it should...as far as i know.so from what i read ,the huge wu,are where the problem lies,something about they are very fragmented,and are causing lots of headaches. so while im here,which is why i started writing this in the first place,what pourous does v 1.3 serve any way.am seeing no change in times,takes about 13-15 minutes to run what ever size wu there sending me,on a 6770.dont really know if thats slow or fast.
