Please consider Badges for your project. It is another way to get users interested in your project and also gives another way to compete with each other.

I like the RAC badge idea, but could we have a credit badge, please - so maybe 10k, 100k, 250k, 1m, 10m, 50m, 100m, etc...? I would love that, and it would make me (and probably others) inclined to crunch more for this project, so I could get more badges...
