You might want to PM the user Zydor, he started a thread about the 7970's not running and knows ALOT about gpu's.

I have two 560Ti's and love them, they have always just worked for me. I do not game or overclock though. One thing the 560Ti's did do though was give some kind of error in Chrome that my son never could figure out. It was a 'timing error' or something like that so I traded my son a 6950 for one, we are now both happy.

Hey. Sorry for my bad english but i try give instructions.

First: download x86 open cl client from http://www.distributed.net/Download_clients

- Unzip the folder in the Moo wrapper

- Change or create "app_info.xml" in this way

<app_info>
<app>
<name>dnetc</name>
<user_friendly_name>Distributed.net Client</user_friendly_name>
</app>

<file_info>
<name>dnetc_wrapper_1.3_windows_intelx86__ati14.exe</name>
<executable/>
</file_info>
<file_info>
<name>dnetc.exe</name>
<executable/>
</file_info>
<file_info>
<name>dnetc-gpu-1.3.ini</name>
</file_info>
<file_info>
<name>job-ati14-1.00.xml</name>
</file_info>

<app_version>
<app_name>dnetc</app_name>
<version_num>103</version_num>
<platform>windows_intelx86</platform>
<avg_ncpus>0.5</avg_ncpus>
<max_ncpus>0.763151</max_ncpus>
<plan_class>ati14</plan_class>
<api_version>7.0.28</api_version>
<flops>673508187605.180540</flops>
<file_ref>
<file_name>dnetc_wrapper_1.3_windows_intelx86__ati14.exe</file_name>
<main_program/>
</file_ref>
<file_ref>
<file_name>dnetc.exe</file_name>
<copy_file/>
</file_ref>
<file_ref>
<file_name>dnetc-gpu-1.3.ini</file_name>
<open_name>dnetc.ini</open_name>
<copy_file/>
</file_ref>
<file_ref>
<file_name>job-ati14-1.00.xml</file_name>
<open_name>job.xml</open_name>
<copy_file/>
</file_ref>
<coproc>
<type>ATI</type>
<count>1</count>
</coproc>
<gpu_ram>262144000.000000</gpu_ram>
</app_version>
</app_info>

- and finally change "job-ati14-1.00.xml" like this

<job_desc>
<task>
<application>dnetc.exe</application>
<checkpoint_filename>chkpoint</checkpoint_filename>
<command_line>-ini dnetc.ini -runoffline -multiok=1</command_line>
</task>
</job_desc>

I dont know what drivers you need to use. I have now 13.9 and working really well.

Ok. Tested 3 tasks. Drivers: 13.9

Radeon 7950.

First task: computing time: 1,872.83 cpu time: 47.39

Then i stop and changes to run 2 tasks at time

Computing time 2,840.66 cpu time 48.67

Computing time 3,112.25 cpu time 55.82

These two 2 tasks running at same time.

Summary: You get more points when running two tasks at same time.

I believe it's the same file just a couple of lines change, the memory line may change as the one Tapio posted is for a 2gb card, and the flops will probably change but you can get your from Boinc itself. When Boinc first starts up it does a flops check of each gpu, I looked in my won events log for a dual gpu machines and see this:
10/18/2013 9:52:12 AM | | CAL: ATI GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD 5800 series (Cypress) (CAL version 1.4.1848, 1024MB, 991MB available, 5440 GFLOPS peak)
10/18/2013 9:52:12 AM | | CAL: ATI GPU 1: ATI Radeon HD 5700 series (Juniper) (CAL version 1.4.1848, 1024MB, 991MB available, 2720 GFLOPS peak)

It was about 10 or so lines down from the very top of the log.

"Clocks bouncing around", that seems to be normal in an app like Afterburner with the 7790. If it's producing results don't worry about it. It does the same thing in Collatz and DistrRTgen. It draws only about 4 watts more than a 7770 and is a lot faster. As far as 13.9 drivers, they don't seem to work correctly with my 7790 cards no matter what I do: driversweeper, you name it. Swap in any other card (like a 7850 or 7950) and everything's fine. The 13.4 drivers work fine here though with the 7790, and the 7790 runs at the same speed as the 7850 in Moo! Go figure. In Einstein the 7850 is considerably faster.
